One of the hottest Saturdays of the summer went very well on and off the trail!! I met up at 6:00 AM for a four mile loop. Met back at the trail head to hit the road for a 6 mile loop, then ran into old friends and power walked another mile and a half.
It was my inaugural run in a new set of shoes and I covered it all, the trail, the road and the power walk. They stood the test.
Confession: They stood the test so well, that I am wearing them on the plane tomorrow with turned up boyfriend jeans, a white t-shirt and a leather jacket. The gray is so chic!!
